Going Tribal

Did she really say that? Oh how gauche and not at all politically correct!

It’s not what you think. Dave Logan, John King and Halee Fischer-Wright studied organizational cultures for over 15 years and made a number of interesting observations which they have gathered together in their book, “Tribal Leadership: Leveraging Natural Groups to Build a Thriving Organization.”

The movement has caught the attention of a number of large companies; most notably the shoemaker Zappos,  the financier Schwab, and the Internet’s giant search engine Google. Even if your powerhouse status has yet to manifest, you can still learn something exciting about empowering people to be their best.
